Un gioco di snowboard assolutamente incredibile che ti
proietta in cima ad una montagna. Piroette, acrobazie e corse sfrenate sono
le tue armi, arrivare primo e fare punti il tuo obbiettivo principale.

Virtual Stratton è indubbiamente il miglior titolo gratuito dedicato allo
snowboard, davvero ben fatto.
Lo scopo semplice: Basta scegliere il proprio personaggio e la tavola
preferita, e poi lanciarsi per i vari percorsi, cercando di raggranellare il
maggior numero di punti facendo acrobazie e giochi con la tavola. La grafica
si difende bene, con modelli 3D discretamente realizzati, anche se i
paesaggi sono forse un pò troppo spogli. Il reparto audio invece è pieno di
simpatici motivetti ed effetti sonori gradevoli.
Nel complesso, una produzione sicuramente consigliata per qualche settimana
di divertimento, nell'attesa di poter andare su una vera pista innevata.

Virtual Stratton is a snowboarding simulation that create`s your perfect
powder run ride from start to finish. The terrain is based on geological
survey data of the Stratton Mountain resort in Vermont and surrounding area.
This game is easy to learn, fun to play and has great replay value. Choose
from single run`s through Slaloms, Half Pine, Super Pipe and many others.
There is also a free roam helicopter drop where you can get dropped off
anywhere on the mountain and make your own trails. Trick`s can also be
mastered and will add bonus points to your score once you get a feel for the
snow and your board. There is also 2 other Virtual snowboarding games,
Virtual Breckenridge and Virtual Jay Peak, that once installed you can
choose which mountain you want to carve up directly from the menus of all 3
games. All three games are a must download.
Controls are mouse or keyboard : left and right to steer the rider, button 1
or to crouch (release to jump), up and down to attempt a flip while jumping,
and button 2 or in combination with left or right to do a grab while in the
air, spacebar for view, Esc exit game
