Utility particolarmente evoluta che consente una rapida e comoda gestione delle funzionalità di cattura schermo. Oltre alle consuete opzioni per realizzare screenshot del monitor intero o di una porzione di esso, sono disponibili altre utili opzioni, tra cui:
- cattura di filmati a video utilizzabile sia per catturare video visualizzati a display, sia per effettuare una video sequenza che illustra l'apertura di certe finestre o menù, in questo tipo di cattura il puntatore del mouse è attivo e quindi realizzare dei video-tutorial diventa immediato).
- cattura di testo a video è possibile catturare il solo testo contenuto in una finestra, conservandone la formattazione (anche se il risultato non sarà perfetto...)
- SnagIT come dispositivo di stampa per stampare ciò che compare a video o in una singola finestra e salvarlo in tiff. bmp ecc.
L'utilizzo di questa utility è veramente semplice. A corollario delle funzioni appena descritte, vi è anche un comodo ed utile browser, attraverso il quale visualizzare, archiviare e gestire le catture effettuate.
